Curriculum Vitae:
Dr. Bragaglia received his Bachelor degree (2010) and Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering (2012) working in the field of coating technologies for friction and wear reduction.
Dr. Bragaglia received his Ph. D. (2016) in Industrial Engineering at University of Rome “Tor Vergata” on the corrosion behavior of metal matrix composite materials while keeping the coating development as research interest.
He then moved to Agordo (Bl) for industrial postdoctoral research (INSTM Politecnico di Milano) at “Luxottica SPA” in the field of optimization of metal 3D printing. This experience was followed by a second postdoctoral research (2017-2019) in the field of Optimization of electrochemical screen-printed sensors for the detection of heavy metals (FAR-FAS 2014 SCIADRO).
Since 2021, Dr. Bragaglia is a research at University of Rome “Tor Vergata” Department of Enterprise Engineering “Mario Lucertini”, ING-IND/22, where he has joined the group headed by Prof. Francesca Nanni, in the field of multifunctional polymeric composite materials for ALM. In 2019,
Dr. Bragaglia won the AIRI (Italian Industrial Research Association) Oscar Masi prize for the technology transfer related to the research activity on “Multifunctional polymeric nanocomposite materials for additive layer manufacturing” Currently, his research work focuses on 3D printing of polymeric materials and coating development on polymeric substrates.
